Saalbach Hinterglemm: A casual holiday

The region of Saalbach Hinterglemm presents itself as the “Home of Lässig” – relaxed, casual and fun. This “trademark” is no coincidence: the stressful everyday routine has no place here at all. Instead, expect leisurely hiking tours, mountain inns that await with regional delicacies, and nature at its best. Children will enjoy the many water and adventure playgrounds and can experience child-appropriate hiking adventures together with clown Montelino. Boredom doesn’t stand a chance!

A network of 400km of hiking trails of all levels of difficulty cater for everyone, from family-friendly hiking tours to sophisticated hikes that span several days, from rides in a cable car to ambitious races to the summit in the Kitzbühel Alps.

If you like your holidays action-packed, the region offers many opportunities for athletic pursuits. In summer, the tree-top trail and the high-rope course take you up to dizzying heights.  Mountain bikers will find an extensive network of trails just waiting to be explored: more than 400km of breakneck downhill and Enduro trails in the biking region of Saalbach Hinterglemm get the adrenaline going and cater for beginners as well as for professional bikers.
